Recoleta is part of the reason that Buenos Aires is sometimes referred to as the Paris of South America. Although a bit of an exaggeration, the French-inspired architecture of the city is part of its romance. This apartment is located in such a building.
The area is among the citys most historic and is located close to embassies, a number of 4 and 5 star hotels, many parks and outdoor restaurants, Buenos Aires Design Center, Recoleta Village (with one of the finest, reserved seat movie theaters in the city), and the fashionable Patio Bullrich. There are also a number of smaller shops with high quality clothing, art, antiques, etc. And, there is an outdoor market artisans every weekend.
The new Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, entered through the recently refurbished Palacio Duhau, is in the adjoining block. It has modern, health club facilities, including massage, and has a 25 meter swimming pool. For more information see:
